Who operates this website
This website is operated by The Business Advisory Board Limited trading as The Business Owners Guild, registered in Irelandunder company registration number 526468, registered office 13 Classon House, Dundrum Business Park, Dublin 14, D14 W9Y3, Ireland. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean that company. You can contact us at info@thebusinessownersguild.com or 01 298 4473.
Using this website
You may read and use this website for your own business purposes. The information on it is general information about the Guild and is not professional, financial or legal advice. Using the website does not create any membership, contract or advisory relationship between us.
Registering for an event
Registering for an event is separate from using the website and separate from applying for Guild membership. Places are limited and are allocated in the order registrations are received.
A confirmed place means a place has been allocated to you and you will receive confirmation by email. A waiting-list place means the event was full when you registered; it is not a place at the event. A waiting-list registration only becomes a confirmed place if a place becomes available and we confirm it to you by email.
Registering for an event does not make you a member of the Guild and does not entitle you to membership.
Changes and cancellations
Event details, including the date, time, venue and speakers, may change. We may also postpone or cancel an event. Where that happens we will notify registered attendees using the contact details they provided, as soon as we reasonably can. Please tell us if you can no longer attend, so the place can be offered to someone on the waiting list.
Applying for membership
Applying for, or registering interest in, Guild membership is an application only. It does not create membership. Membership begins only when we confirm it to you. The Guild is for shareholders and business owners, partners in an operating business, and chief executives, and we may decline or end an application where that qualification is not met.
Guild Community membership is described on this website as free for qualifying owners and CEOs. Guild Builder is described as €50 per month after any complimentary founding period. Membership pricing, inclusions and any founding-member terms are those set out on this website at the time you apply and may change for future applicants. The TAB Advisory pathway is offered by The Alternative Board Ireland by application and conversation and is not purchased through this website. No payment is taken through this website.
Business Builder's Blueprint access is available as part of Builder membership and is set up separately during onboarding. Use of Business Builder's Blueprint is subject to its own applicable terms, which are agreed as part of that setup process. Becoming a Guild member, registering for an event, joining at Community level, or paying a membership fee does not by itself create a Business Builder's Blueprint account or constitute acceptance of those separate terms, and these Terms do not govern use of Business Builder's Blueprint.
